This is a very rare opportunity for someone to join our team and is only available due to internal promotion. We need someone who can deliver true brand experience and take the approved used car department to the next level. What is the Next Level? The department has a professional, dedicated and established Sales Team. They require a leader who can exhaust every ounce of opportunity from them. They seek inspiration and vision to drive the performance of the department. A large number of units are already retailed each month, but our commitment to resource and investment demand more. We are looking for someone who can add 50% to the current unit delivery. The successful candidate will aspire to an Upper Quartile Used Car operation. Main Job Function: Our customers demand the highest level of attention and as expected when representing the brand, this is not a simple process to deliver. You will be expected to liaise closely with your team, colleagues and manufacturer representatives. With strong organisational skills you will balance the expectations of the Sales arena with your own detailed, tenacious and driven approach to deliver an enviable Used Car purchasing experience for our customers. You will balance the expectations of the Board and Head of Business with a sound knowledge of the Used Car operation and will deliver budget beating performances. What else do we expect? You will need to respond quickly to the Used Car market. You will have a flair for presentation and structure yourself in a way that exudes confidence. Close attention to “Retail Detail”. You will work closely with our Group Buyer to leverage success from every car purchase. Targets will not deter you and over achievement will be part of your core DNA. Remember this is a role representing the Ultimate Iconic Brand– you need to be the Ultimate Driver. Hours and Salary: This is a full time, permanent position. Our customers are living in a 24/7 world therefore please not that rota weekend work will be included. This includes our recent initiative to extend our opening hours in order to maximize our customer retail experience with earlier and later opening times than currently observed by other Prestige Motor Retailers. OTE - £75,000. Experience as a Used Car Sales Manager within a franchised dealership is preferred. This is an incredibly demanding role, resilience and determination are required. Proven success in a volume car operation will be considered. You will be IT literate with knowledge of Dealer Management systems; Kerridge experience whilst advantageous is not a pre-requisite. The ideal candidate will have a very friendly and confident approach with an engaging personality.
