Reporting to the Managing Director, the General Manager will have overall day to day control of all dealership functions, however the position requires strong leadership and motivation, with a particular emphasis on controlling the sales department to ensure continued improvement both customer service levels and dealership profitability through a process driven approach. The Ideal General Manager will:Have relevant experience and be seeking the next step in their career,Have a proven track record of achieving Manufacturer targets,Come from the Automotive industry,Possess excellent interpersonal skills with drive and an enthusiasm for teamwork,Have strong leadership and motivation skills.The successful candidate will be able to:Lead, motivate and inspire others,Maximise sales and profit opportunities,Focus on achieving goals,Demonstrate high achievement,Work as a team player and on own initiative,Motivate self and others to achieve excellent results,Have an emphasis on controlling the sales department to ensure continued improvement both customer service levels and dealership profitability through a process driven approach. Salary: 60k / 84k OTE - MUST HAVE PREVIOUS MOTOR TRADE EXPERIENCE.
