Our Client is now recruiting a Sales Development Manager; a new opportunity due to the success of this team and the continual growth of the Company. To this end they are seeking to recruit another Sales Development Manager into their SDM team, to help support the important next growth phase in their strategic development. To continue their year on year trend of increasing sales of new & used units, as well as finance & insurance, they are looking to recruit an additional Sales Development Manager to complement the existing team. The role will be to support dealership management in the achievement of their chassis and finance and insurance budgets, whilst ensuring that customer satisfaction is put above all else and that they operate within regulatory requirements. A significant part of the role will be to deliver on site coaching, training and mentoring to managers and sales execs to underpin and strengthen their unique and market leading, Sales Process, and Training Academy proposition. In addition, time will be spent observing and analysing performance, to best understand what is working well and what areas of performance are not being optimised. Within this remit you will also be responsible for ensuring the effective use of enquiry management and optimisation tools. The role will be regionally based, with some overall brand responsibilities. This helps to promote less time travelling, leaving more time for developing, as well as creating relationships with key stakeholders. You will have a proven track record and experience of successfully developing performance through others within automotive retail. You will also have a thorough understanding of the finance and insurance arena. You will be a confident, effective communicator with coaching skills, who can adapt their style to connect with others. You will also have an excellent eye for spotting what is really happening and be able to ask the right questions to get to the bottom of why.
