An opportunity exists for a talented individual to support the General Manager of the two Dealerships which include Watford. The successful candidate will be somebody ready to take the next step on their career journey and will probably currently be a very successful General Sales Manager/Service Manager with a demonstrable track record. Maintain high visibility and involvement in the business, walking the floor, communicating & cascading information quickly to the team
Hold departmental management meetings (e.g. 20 minute review daily with each manager) plus other general meetings (bad debt, branch reviews, associate, quality circle etc.) Cash handling. Implement and ensure compliance with the policies and procedures of the company and manufacturer (e.g., legal, regulatory, security, I.T. security, advertising, MOT, credit related issues)
Ensure databases and records are maintained and used effectively; carry out audits. Marketing: research and identify business development opportunities, put together plans to take the business forward and ensure marketing budget is used effectively
Ensures company complaint handling procedures are followed and resolve customer concerns/complaints that are referred on by managers, employees and Head Office. Add value to local community wealth, building and maintaining strong links with the local community and community activities.Maximise return on capital employed, and deliver a positive cash flow.
Responsible for ensuring that the dealership is profitable and efficient, employees are managed and motivated effectively, selling opportunities are maximised, and customers receive outstanding service and care.
Salary: 35K / 40K Basic, 55K OTE MUST HAVE PREVIOUS MOTOR TRADE EXPERIENCE.
