THE ROLE: Account Manager
THE SALARY: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum+ Bonus
THE TERRITORY: Midlands (preferably close to airport)
Account Managers are responsible for the development and relationship management of their delegated Customers delegated to them as per their reporting Key Account Manager.
They are responsible for the turnover and profitability of the allocated customers and must work in line with the UK Aftermarket business strategy.
•Execute and implement the sales strategy, manage the daily business of allocated regional customers, increase sales, orders and revenue
•Maximise sales from new and existing customers
•Engage with customers on a regular basis, informing and advising of new product ranges or pricing promotions
•Negotiate annual order contracts and quarterly commercial initiatives (implementation of commercial plans) for assigned customers.
•Drive sales to customer subsidiaries.
•Implement defined commercial and promotional initiatives as set by the business
•Analyze customer portfolio in terms of potential, needs, development, further cross selling and demand for pull activities, both Products & Services portfolio.
•Provide solutions for the customer and helps support all order issues if any arise
•Work hand in hand with key business units including customer Service, Distribution Centre and Finance
•Find ways to constantly improve customer satisfaction
•Share best practices with the wider UK and European sales teams
•Support Key Account Managers on all other ad hoc projects such as upcoming bids or tenders, attend customer trade shows, carry out customer training & garage workouts
•Promoting the Brands and values in an ethical, compliant way
•Three years minimum experience in the automotive sector as a Sales support representative
•Ability to travel extensively, work independently and learn continuously.
•Effective in teamwork, projects & communications
•Focus on customers agreements and related sales results.
•Be self-motivated and a natural self-starter
•Attention to detail
•Strong negotiation skills.
•Analytical skills to understand sales performance and market trend information.
•Excellent 360 communication skills.
