A niche Automotive Manufacturer is seeking 2 Area Sales Managers to manage a portfolio of Dealers in the Midlands and Southern England. These opportunities will appeal to current Area Sales Managers looking for a broader role to encompass sales, accessories sales and marketing development disciplines.
The Area Sales Managers will be tasked with maintaining, and developing further, profitable relationships with Dealers in these important regions. The challenge will be to build and maintain close relationships with the Networks through regular visits and communication and to encourage the promotion of sales and marketing initiatives. Also to provide support and direction with regard sales campaigns and to implement process to effectively measure Dealer performance across sales targets, stock planning, order commitments and forecasting. The roles will also be focussed on auditing and reporting on the Dealer network to ensure compliance with franchise and operating standards. Business improvement plans and training and development programmes will also be a focus to raise Dealers operating standards.
The successful candidate will have:
- A minimum of three years’ experience in a sales environment
- Experience working for an Automotive Manufacturer in the field
- Strong people management and influencing skills
- Preferably educated to Degree Level
- Developed commercial acumen
- Flexibility to manage a large geographical area
