Our client based in Exeter is looking for an experienced Assistant
Manager to join their team. They would like the candidate to have
previous experience in a similar role. They are looking for a
candidate with excellent organisational and people skills to assist
their department manager in running their after sales office.
Your main responsibility
* Organising work for teams of engineers
* Dealing with contracted engineers on a national basis
* Manage systems for reactive and proactive servicing and repair
* Manage invoicing to customers and dealing effectively with after
care issues as and when they arise.
Although this is a mainly office-based role, site visits to meet with
customers will be a regular occurrence. The role will ideally suit an
individual who has a background within the construction industry,
possibly an electrical qualification, who has had hands on experience
but is looking for a more office-based role. You will be issued with a
mobile phone and be expected to offer out of hours support to
engineers on a rotational basis.
