About the job...

The business change team is a core part of the Manheim Remarketing business, leading on a wide variety of projects that are directly driving business strategy. The programme contains in excess of 60 projects at any one time varying in scale from small change activity (any project under 15 days effort) to projects running over multiple years with multi-million pound budgets. The projects that the team of business change managers drive is varied from technical development activity, using Scrum techniques at the core, through supporting product development and operational change to large scale multi work stream strategic change.

Reporting to the  Business Change Programme Manager, you will be assigned to the management of a variety of medium to large projects across the Manheim business.  These will incorporate projects within and outside of the IT function where adhering to project deadlines is critical.

You will operate within a matrix whereby you run the project to the satisfaction of the business sponsor but conform to the standards and principles set out by your line manager within the Programme Management Office.

The main responsibilities of this role are to liaise with project stakeholders, manage resources within the project and manage the delivery of the project from initial concept through to delivery.

It is important to recognise that it is Business Change, not IT focussed.

About you...

You will be a Project Manager with proven technical experience working in an agile environment, managing scrum teams, developers and challenging stakeholders and 3rd party suppliers.

You'll have a can do attitude and are motivated by working in a fast paced business, with a strong desire to exceed expectations and deliver a great job. Supporting your development team to achieve success, you'll be happy to roll your sleeves up and do whatever is necessary to ensure targets and deadlines are met.

You have a pragmatic approach, are highly organised and work in a structured way. You can see beyond your project to the bigger picture and how your project links in and supports delivery of overall business objectives.
