Our client is a provider of award winning and innovative insurance services and products, who work in partnership with many of the UK’s leading financial institutions, insurance companies and brokers.


They are seeking a Business Development Manager to work in a designated area in the South West/ South Wales to identify new business opportunities as well as develop the sales of products and systems to existing dealers.


Key Responsibilities:

•       Providing sales support to existing accounts at dealership level

•       Identifying new business opportunities in the small to medium dealer market

•       Developing new business opportunities by prospecting/cold calling

•       Increasing product sales from new accounts

•       Developing relationships at dealership level

•       Providing sales support training/coaching to dealerships



Person Specification:

·         Proven track record in a B2B sales role

·         Motor Industry experience and specifically knowledge of Financial Services or Insurance is desirable

·         Evidence of strategic selling and strategic account management

·         Proven relationship management and excellent communication skills

·         Analytically orientated

·         Excellent presentation skills
