Service Care Solutions are looking for an Operations Manager for an independent Healthcare Group across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire & Buckinghamshire
*Salary £45,000 (depending on experience and qualifications)
*You will also receive a company car or car allowance of £330pcm
The organisation is a national, private healthcare group. All services are CQC registered and provide person-centred support to individuals with needs including; learning disabilities, physical disabilities, brain injuries & complex needs. They provide a variety of services including domiciliary care, residential care & supported living.
You will be covering 7 residential services across Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire & Hertfordshire. As this is a field role you will be based from home or at one of the 7 services you cover.
Essential criteria for the successful candidate:
*Degree or equivalent qualification (i.e. Level 5 Diploma & including NHS achieved qualifications) along with evidence of on-going commitment to professional development
*Clear understanding of the Learning Disability sector, a proven track record of working with local authorities & an extensive, working knowledge of relevant care standards/legislations
*Leadership experience within a (mental) healthcare environment (including CQC Registered)
*Proven experience in leading different teams, managing operational changes across different departments, delivering performance and cost improvements, working to and achieving KPIs set by commissioners and regulators whilst assessing, identifying and managing risks.
*A proven track record of success working within an operational role
*Experience managing budgets and a proven track record of fiscal responsibility
*Given the field nature of the role you must hold a valid driver's licence.
Desirable criteria for the successful candidate:
*A professional qualification - preferably as a Registered Mental Health Nurse, Social Worker, etc
Standard daily tasks would include:
*Manage services and their managers/teams by hosting team meetings
*Ensure excellent service is being provided
*Develop the company through commercial success, working with local commissioners and stakeholders
*Report to the key internal stakeholders, including the CEO and directors through report writing
*Ensure compliancy is met with the company and regulator standards
Candidates will need to provide examples of:
*Amount of residential beds responsible for covering?
*Amount of supported living beds responsible for covering?
*Amount of domiciliary hours responsible for covering?
*What was their occupancy when they started their role?
*What was their occupancy when they finished their role?
*Did they meet budget?
*What new tenders did they win and how?
