CRM Executive

As part of the CRM team, the successful candidate will be responsible managing all aspects of the email communication process to trade and consumer audiences, for both transactional and marketing purposes. They will also be responsible for reporting on the effectiveness of individual campaigns and proposing refinements to targeting, content and delivery timings to optimise future performance.

Role Responsibilities

·        Responsible for the creation, quality-assurance and delivery of innovative email campaigns to consumer and trade audiences

·        Implement and manage ‘welcome journeys’ and triggered emails based on consumer activity

·        Responsible for the creation, quality-assurance and delivery for both consumer and trade transactional email communications

·        Deliver regular and adhoc reporting and insights that accurately assesses the performance of each email campaign

·        Manage and maintain the email marketing roadmap whilst ensuring alignment with the overall marketing goals

·        Carry out multi-variant testing in order to optimise performance of campaigns on an ongoing basis through customer segmentation, ad copy/subject line changes and delivery timings

·        Increase visits to motors.co.uk from email and work closely with the marketing and business intelligence function to support the improvements to the overall customer journey where possible

·        Provide the sales teams with centralised email marketing resource to support various sales activity

·        Ensure all email communications adhere to best practice industry guidelines and Motors.co.uk brand guidelines

Candidate Requirements

·        Technical

o   Previous experience working with email provider software such as dotMailer, eMarsys or Exact Target

o   Ability to create excellent visual concepts whilst following brand guidelines

o   Understanding of email marketing performance drivers, optimisation techniques and data protection laws

o   Strong presentation skills and advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office – especially Excel and PowerPoint essential

o   Experience of Google Analytics an advantage

o   Good academic background (preferably degree educated)

o   Organised and analytical with high attention to detail

o   A demonstrable interest in online marketing and the internet in general

·        Attitudinal       

o   Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to interact with and present to senior management and sales teams

o   Able to work independently and to tight deadlines

o   Creative approach to problem solving and “can-do” attitude

o   Above all, be results driven, customer-focused and passionate individual with desire to grow with the role
