Our client, an established multi franchise dealer group are searching for an experienced General Sales Manager based in Worthing.
This is very much a ‘hands on’ role and requires an exceptionally talented individual to continue to grow on the current success of this dealership and take full responsibility for the operation of the sales department. You must be able to demonstrate the desire to approach every possible situation in an enthusiastic and positive manner in order to ensure that our customers and colleagues all benefit.
You should have a minimum of 3 Years Sales Management experience from within the motor trade, a proven track record in selling and negotiating, along with an unquestionable ability to implement and run a regimented sales process in order to maximise all opportunities.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing the Sales team
- Ensuring the dealership meets all appropriate manufacturer standards
- Implementing and maintaining processes within the department
- Ensuring that financial targets and customer satisfaction objectives are met
- Handling any customer issues or complaints in a professional and timely manner, whilst identifying trends to prevent recurring issues
- Monitoring and controlling departmental expenditure
- Coaching and developing the Sales team members
The successful applicant will also have excellent communication skills and have the ability to use their own initiative.
