The successful candidate will be a Physically capable individual that will be required to physically strip and rebuild kiln cars, the hardworking individual will work within the maintenance team to maintain our fleet of Kiln cars within our Brick Manufacturing Process.
The role requires a high degree of flexibility and physical fitness. The working hours at Monday to Friday 39 hours per week 30 minutes per day unpaid break. Some flexibility on working hours is available.
Structural Refractory maintenance of our kiln cars, including Brick and Block maintenance to controlled tolerances on each of the 208 kiln cars.
Monitoring consumable stocks to ensure that required maintenance components are available for use.
Through the process of 5’s maintain a clean and well organised workplace.
Maintain concise maintenance records on our Computerised maintenance system.
Provide general support to maintenance across the whole site.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
High Degree of Health and Safety Awareness
Physically fit with no limitations on free lifting
A good understanding of building practices, or DIY skills
Excellent time keeping, attendance and flexibility
