Established 16 years ago, Johnsons Cars is one of the leading Motor Dealer Groups based in the Midlands and with 30 sites throughout the UK representing 12 manufacturer brands. We are currently looking to recruit a Marketing Manager to join our team at Head Office.
This exciting and strategically important role will offer the successful candidate the opportunity to use their creative talents and excellent communication skills when working with our preferred suppliers and manufacturers. This partnership will then support the aims of the Company in being one of the most successful independent dealer groups in the Midlands, the North West and the home-counties.
With the on-set of the Company’s new website, there will be plenty of opportunity for the new recruit to exhibit their abilities when launching the marketing campaigns for the individual manufacturers at the start of each new quarter.
As Marketing Manager you will have responsibility for:
*Establishing Johnsons’ Marketing & Communications strategy
*Supporting and contributing to the organisation's Business Development plans
*Managing a strategic Digital approach
*Developing a CRM measurement and activity strategy
*Controlling external Marketing activity from agencies and manufacturers
*Exploring ways of improving existing products and services, and increasing profitability
*Achieving frequent, timely and positive media coverage across all available media
*Strategic planning and management of the marketing of a growing company including; branding, paid search, social media, E-mail marketing, CRM, press and digital/online presence including website maintenance and management
*Liaising and networking with a range of stakeholders including customers, colleagues, suppliers and partner organisations
*Ensure the brand is represented appropriately and consistently in the marketplace to create positive customer engagement
*Ability to contribute to strategic direction, develop supporting programs and promotions, but 'hands on' when required
*Monitor all group activity and actively report on succession and ROI
*Develop and deliver a plan to acquire new customers and channels as well as strengthen current customer relationships
*Develop the e-commerce element of the group
Skills and experience:
- Good working knowledge of SEO, PPC and affiliate marketing
- Sound experience with B2C and B2B communications
- Knowledge of the end user and understanding of the buying cycle
- Previous experience within an automotive environment would be advantageous
