Our client, a commercial and passenger vehicle manufacturer, now need to recruit an experienced National Sales Manager to lead a team who manage a network of commercial vehicle dealers in the UK. They are seeking an experienced individual who has a sales background in commercial vehicles, as well as the ability to man-manage a national team of Area Managers. This role is the key link between Head Office, the Area Managers and the Dealer network. There will be a responsibility to focus on ensuring that the required sales volumes are achieved and also to make sure that interfaces are maintained between Product Marketing, Finance and Asset Finance departments.
The successful candidate will also be responsible to manage key dealer accounts on a national basis as well as have the ability to work with poor performing dealers to improve their profitability, or terminate.
Excellent knowledge of commercial vehicles within the automotive industry, a high level of numeracy, strong attention to detail, organisation and motivation are essential, as is the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.
