A leading car manufacturer with a reputation for unique and innovate vehicles are seeking a Fleet National Sales Manager with management responsibility for 2 Major Account Managers. This role is field based – the successful candidate will need to live between the M62 and the South Coast
This role is responsible for the delivery of volume and profit objectives both through the 2 Major Account Managers and directly with Daily Rental companies, and other major supply opportunities.
Your team will be responsible for sales to the 400+ corporate accounts coupled with significant multi car opportunities within smaller fleets and Public Sector. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing strategy into non corporate segments specifically broker sales, quasi retail etc.
This role would suit someone with a strong track-record working in a corporate sales role in the 400+ car fleet sector for either a manufacturer or leasing company. You will need to demonstrate the ability to lead, coach and motivate a small field-based sales team (previous people-management experience would be great but is not essential).
Key skills and experience required:
• Experience in managing automotive corporate sales in the >400 car fleets.
• Strong, structured negotiation skills
• Strong leadership and delegation skills – able to coach a team to achieve their objectives
• Experience in developing sales in an RV / WLC dependent customer base
• Demonstrable experience in closing high value contracts
