Product Training Manager

Our client, one of the UK’s leading Automotive Manufacturers, is embarking on a drive to improve the dealer network’s knowledge of products and technologies, for both Passenger Cars and Light Commercial Vehicles.

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Product Training Manager who will work in the manufacturer’s Training Academy with two primary responsibilities:

  1. Development and management of New Model Launch Training
  2. Ongoing product knowledge development

The Product Training Manager will work closely with internal stakeholders and external providers to manage launch training activity, as well as developing and deploying a range of training assets to improve and sustain knowledge competence in the network.  This will include localisation and publication of pan-European training assets. The remit also encompasses the development of training to support a new LCV Manager role being introduced to the network.

We are looking for people with a proven track record in training and development, first hand experience of the automotive industry and familiarity with learning technologies and e-learning learning.  Experience of new product launch training events, as well as an understanding of the LCV sector will be an advantage.

In addition to training and sector competence, you will have strong interpersonal and influencing skills, excellent project management skills and the ability to manage external providers.

This is an initial 9 month contract with potential to extend through Q1 2017. (Start date early April 2016).  While there is some flexibility in terms of location, ideally you will be located in the London/ South East region.
