Our client is an innovative IT company providing solutions to the automotive market. Their products include unique and innovative online point of sale/showroom sales and marketing solutions. Already renowned as market innovators the company have recently launched a range of new products to the market, are in the process of delivering further innovations and have seen incredible revenue growth in the last 2 years.
The field based Regional Sales Manager (Scotland) will be responsible for an existing product portfolio that is already highly successful as well as launching new products into the customer and prospect base. Typical customers will include new and used vehicle retailers to medium sized dealer groups as well as manufacturer head office relationships. There will be a large degree of autonomy with responsibility for driving your diary and appointments - having a minimum of 8 client meetings per week. You will present, negotiate and close customers as well as offering post sale implementation and training support. You will feed customer comment and requirements back to the business and have a key role in shaping future success. Prospects for advancement are excellent as the company will continue to grow and expand into new markets.
A proven track record selling into automotive dealerships in either media, IT, marketing or finance
Have a flair for consultative sales and strong closing skills
The ability to make your own appointments (with some head office marketing support)
Be a highly organized self-starter
Strong presentation skills
The ability to understand online solutions
Ability to engage with target customers Board, Marketing Director or Marketing Manager level
Be very well presented
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Fully IT literate
Based in Scotland with good access to major cities
