An Automotive Manufacturer is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to manage a portfolio of Dealers in the North/East of England. This opportunity will appeal to a current Area Sales Manager looking for a broader role to encompass sales, marketing and network development disciplines.
The Regional Sales Manager will be tasked with maintaining, and developing further, profitable relationships with Dealers in this important region. The challenge will be to build and maintain a close relationship with the Network through regular visits and communication and to encourage the promotion of sales and marketing initiatives. Also to provide support and direction with regard sales campaigns and to implement process to effectively measure Dealer performance across sales targets, stock planning, order commitments and forecasting. The role will also be focussed on auditing and reporting on the Dealer network to ensure compliance with franchise and operating standards. Business improvement plans and training and development programmes will also be a focus to raise Dealers operating standards.
The successful candidate will have:
- A minimum of five years’ experience in a sales environment
- Experience working for an Automotive Manufacturer in the field
- Strong people management and influencing skills
- Preferably educated to Degree Level
- Developed commercial acumen
- Flexibility to manage a large geographical area
