Our client is a leading automotive software and data provider to the UK automotive industry.
They work cross-functionally with OEM’s, Fleet & Leasing/ Contract Hire companies, Finance Businesses and Dealer Groups in the UK.
They are now looking to recruit a Senior Manager who will lead a team of 7 to ensure processes and systems are fit for purpose as well as effectively manage relationships with customers, industry bodies and the media, ensuring accuracy and transparency are to the fore.
Key responsibilities will include:
Provide the most accurate trade and retail used car values in the industry
Effective team leadership and motivation through leadership, coaching and inspiration
Ensure there is sufficient market expertise resident within the team
Support PR Manager, strategy and activity
Represent the company at industry events to communicate current and future market trends
Identify and implement efficiencies within the team
Develop and manage the team
Manage costs within budget
Ensure there are robust quality control checks in place for all products
Ensure that the company is the leading provider for the Industry to call upon for market expertise
Experience of working within the UK motor industry, preferably within the Used Car and Re-Marketing arena.
Expert knowledge of motor vehicles and the associated variants across models.
Expert knowledge of the specific automotive sectors (OEM’s, Finance, Insurance, Fleet, Leasing & Contract Hire as well as the retail channels)
Proven track record of building relationships with industry bodies
Experience in business writing
Proven experience of man-management
Evidence of high level influencing skills
Excellent presentation skills
Ideally educated to degree level standard (however this is not essential).
