A progressive  automotive vehicle manufacturer require a Service Programmes Manager to strategically provide advanced Aftersales programmes for all vehicle products, creating a positive impact on customer retention and increasing Dealer profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop and recommend improvements for Service Programmes, producing product analysis and making detailed proposals to senior management.
  • Research and report on competitor Aftersales activity to suggest and ultimately introduce qualified programme improvements.
  • Oversee, direct and propose new suppliers and initiatives, encouraging a relationship between third party suppliers and Dealers to incentivise sales.
  • Communicate Aftersales programmes to the Dealer Network and relevant business partners, utilising methods such as bulletins, presentations and providing training support material.
  • Analyse programme effectiveness, managing supplier relationships, considering cost justification and produce reports to management and the field teams where required.
  • Monitor and manage relevant budget lines, justifying spend and ensuring all procedures are followed and recorded.

Experience required: 

 

 

  • Experience of managing and directing suppliers
  • Budget Management experience
  • Ability to manage multiple projects across different product types
  • Attainment of minimum numerical and verbal reasoning scores
  • Knowledge, understanding or exposure to core principles of relevant field
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Packages

Skills:

 

 

  • Experience of similar role within Automotive Industry
  • University Graduate in a relevant field or qualified by experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, to relate effectively with individuals at all different levels
  • Flexible in approach, with the ability to reprioritise and multi-task
  • Excellent organisation and time-management skills, with the ability to work well under pressure
  • High degree of self-motivation, productivity and acute attention to detail
  • Demonstrates a can-do attitude with the initiative, drive and resilience to see tasks through to completion
