About the Role

As Technical Project Manager, you will manage the delivery of multiple software projects and programmes within the Technology team from initial concept to delivery.

Keeping the Head of PMO & Head of Development informed at all times, you will work with external clients and internal Account Managers / Directors, provide ongoing project / programme management and aid in the development of new opportunities. Creating functional specifications / briefs and defining costs and timescales, you will lead the software / design consultation, briefing the development and design team on requirements. Acting as a mentor for the project management team, you will work to deadlines and manage client / internal customers expectations on project / programme delivery.

About You

A self-motived team leader with strong organisational skills, the successful candidate will have experience and evidence of product development and programme creation, ideally gained in the IT or automotive industry. You should have the ability to design items of communication to convey complex issues in an easily understood fashion and have the aptitude to take ownership of duties and accountability for teams’ deliveries.

As Technical Project Manager, you will also have excellent evidenced analytical skills in order to determine client requirements. You should be both adaptable and flexible and have experience in the delivery of projects / programmes utilising waterfall and agile methodologies. Knowledge of Microsoft technologies and managing the delivery of software projects is also an essential requirement.
