About the Role
This opportunity is part time with working hours of 13.00 - 17.00, Monday to Friday.
Working to Manheim Standard Operating Procedures and BVRLA fair wear and tear policy, you will accurately inspect cars and commercial vehicles and produce accurate and detailed reports for use in the auction process and by customers. As Vehicle Inspector, you will be responsible for consistently achieving quality and quantity outputs in line with our SLA’s and branch targets.
Supporting the yard team with ongoing process and movement of inspected vehicles, you will take high quality photos of the vehicles and ensure that the onsite process for key storage is followed to ensure that keys can be tracked and traced. The Vehicle Inspector will also be required to interact with customers, providing information regarding inspections and demonstrate expertise and value of the product and service.
With excellent customer service skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines, the successful candidate will have knowledge of BVRLA fair wear and tear standards and be computer literate to include the use of hand held devices. Able to cope well under pressure and work effectively within a team, you will have knowledge of vehicle derivatives and ideally have basic mechanical knowledge.
