A rare and exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, cutting edge company that is expanding rapidly.

You will be responsible as part of the purchasing team to ensure that the primary stock objectives and quality of vehicles meet the company standards and are available at all times to meet the monthly sales targets.

Bidding on and purchasing of vehicles from auctions and fleet companies.
Valuing stock at current market values.
Organising and purchasing bulk stock orders.
Appraising vehicles for damage.
Building trade purchasing relationships.
Acquisition of trade and ex fleet vehicles from trade outlets.

Disposal of stock
It is essential for this role that you have full time vehicle purchasing experience, and ideally purchased vehicles for a large supermarket or group in volume.

You will have at least 6 years Motor Trade / Automotive experience with the last 3 years gaining experience in used car purchasing from various channels for stock including auctions.

You will be able to demonstrate that you understand the Automotive used car market in depth including stock profiling, stock management, the principle of days stock turn, how to appraise a vehicle effectively and how you remain ahead of the competition on current market values.
