The job function is to develop and promote the accessory business for the Group and to introduce and manage suitable, commercial products for the target audience. You will also ensure that the accessory business area actively supports the head office strategy for growth and profitability whilst also meeting UK local objectives. Select, develop and manage the strategy for the accessory portfolio to ensure best fit with brand, appropriate product quality and maximisation of sales opportunities.
Research, evaluate and propose additions to the accessories portfolio, ensuring consistent development of commercial opportunities to assist in achieving group and local targets.
General use of resources to support product promotion, ensuring product awareness is maximised via various communication channels, in line with company guidelines, and ensuring that literature is technically correct.
Manage and develop the accessories portfolio ensuring support programmes are fully utilised by dealers.
Monitor and evaluate the product category performance to ensure that contribution to profit and sales objectives is continual.
Supporting product launches, ensuring a range of accessory products and supporting marketing materials are available in order to support new model launches.
You will also manage external agencies and suppliers to ensure adherence to budget and timing plans.
Ideally you will have an automotive background, coupled with the ability to manage a challenging and demanding role. You will possess excellent communication skills to liaise with a variety of people around the business and to handle customer queries. You will also manage your time in an effective and efficient manner.
