Our client is a leading London marketing agency. They are seeking an Account Director to join their team working on an automotive manufacturer account. This role will be part of the Aftersales Team who manage all aftersales marketing activity for the manufacturer. The client has set significant targets for Aftersales and the agency is looking for someone who can take-up this challenge, add value to the current aftersales activity and look to build and evolve what the agency does. This role will initially be a short-term contract until November or December 2012.
The agency is looking for an experienced, business focused and results driven Account Director to join the account team to run an important and growing part of the business for them. The main focus of the role is to head up the Aftersales support and manage the existing team of two (Account Manager and Account Executive).
The main responsibilities of this position include:
Development and deployment of the annual Aftersales strategic plan
Creation of all the Dealer Aftersales support communications: primarily in-dealership and acquisition materials comprising Digital Banners, EDM. DM, Press and POS.
Quarterly and tactical Aftersales retail offer
Network education and best practice sharing programme with a quarterly educational update brochure
Oversee of cross agency activity
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following capabilities:
A good integrated / BTL understanding ideally with aftersales experience or franchisee business experience.
Car experience would be preferable but must have some form of aftermarket / reseller type experience.
Must have proven track record performing at Account Director level
Strong leadership skills with experience of working in a multi-agency structure
People management experience and be able to demonstrate the ability to manage and motivate a team
Good creative understanding of how to deliver good ideas across multiple media including channels we don’t have total control over e.g. Dealer environment.
A track record of great project management i.e. managing the project lifecycle from beginning to end and delivering projects to time, to budget, to quality
Strong client relationship skills ideally demonstrated through references
Good commercial focus, a record of delivering client financial targets and growing profitable revenue
Good interpersonal skills and committed to developing team
