Our client is a vibrant medium sized marketing agency with a stellar list of clients and a bright, energetic and talented team. They are looking for an experienced Account Director to lead a premium automotive manufacturer’s marketing account.
Unlike traditional roles, this one is very diverse and covers many areas of marketing for a premium automotive account/dealer marketing service – advertising, DM, events, PR and digital. The role will involve managing a team of seven, overseeing/implementing projects (often hands-on), establishing and developing new opportunities for the account, managing the account/client budget management. Although office base, there is a requirement for ad hoc visits to dealers to discuss their local marketing.
This role is ideal for someone with previous automotive experience who has strong client-handling skills, exceptional attention to detail and has had previous experience a managing a team. An outstanding academic record, the ability to keep projects on track, a sense of humour and a calm, supportive working style are all essential.
