A successful marketing agency, specialising in CRM & Database marketing is seeking an Account Director to lead a team working on automotive accounts. You will work on a range of clients with a particular emphasis on database marketing, CRM and aftersales programmes.
You will work within agency processes to be the senior contact for a diverse number of clients; to develop new client opportunities against sales targets and work strategically to add value to campaign planning.
Responsibilities will include:
Providing account direction and demonstrating tangible added value in order to maximise client satisfaction
Ability to advise client on best practice relating to global CRM development and execution
Manage and develop an Account Team
Writing both strategic and tactical proposals, through awareness of trends in relevant market sectors
Writing in depth briefing documentation for agency support departments
The successful candidate will:
Be an experienced, highly motivated and ambitious client handler with a ‘can do’ attitude
Have good database marketing experience, below the line, preferably gained agency side
Have a strong grasp of database in driving acquisition, retention and CRM strategy
Have excellent budget and financial skills with ambition and drive to develop their accounts proactively
Be able to inspire client confidence through knowledge and relationship building, to develop new and existing clients and to add value to delivery
Previous experience on automotive accounts would be highly advantageous
