Our client is a full service marketing and creative agency with a fabulous client list including a number of leading automotive brands. This agency has the client list and feel of a London agency but based in glorious rural surroundings.
The agency has recently been appointed by a major, premium brand automotive manufacturer to run their trade parts marketing globally. As a result of this account win they are seeking an Account Director with a background in the automotive sector.
The agency will be providing all marketing and communications within the trade parts programme and a selection of essential digital tools and portals underpinning the wider commercial operation.
The Account Director will lead a central team within the agency who will provide the creative, studio and digital production for the whole account. Initially setting up the UK operation, leading onto the remote management of the individual markets.
The key purpose of this role is to be accountable for the effective management, direction and financial growth of the account.
The ideal candidate will have:
Automotive sector experience essential
B2B Marketing experience essential
Car Parts / Aftersales / Service Marketing experience would be ideal but is not essential
Promotional Marketing experience advantageous
Direct Marketing and/or Response Marketing experience advantageous
Resource Management Experience
Ability to Travel in the UK and abroad
Excellent organisational skills
Proven ability to manage and lead a small team
First class ability to prioritise and manage own workload
Ability to build strong client relationships
