A marketing agency are seeking an Account Manager for a major automotive manufacturer’s retail marketing account. This agency is part of a major global agency group and are the retail creative agency for this premium brand automotive manufacturer.
With responsibility for a team of Account Executives, the Account Manager will be the key day to day client contact on the account and manage the interface between the retail agency team and the retail network. They will manage project life cycles through the entire agency process and provide strategic input and guidance for the role of retailer marketing activity.
Day-to-day responsibility for client management
Responsible for delivery of the client scope on time & on budget
Proactive development of the client’s business to improve the agency’s reputation and promote organic growth
Responsible for the positive resolution of ad-hoc operational challenges
Writing and delivering presentations
Managing the creative process for a wide range of online and off-line materials
Responsible for managing and developing a team of 3 Account Executives
Working closely with the Account Director to manage objectives
Working with partner agencies to develop appropriate strategic proposals and creative solutions
Management and operation of client marketing portal
The successful candidate will have:
Educated to degree level
A thorough understanding of the retail vehicle market
Proven automotive marketing expertise – in either an agency, manufacturer or field role
Expertise in automotive marketing systems
Excellent communication skills
To work well as a member of a team
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
