Our client is a marketing agency who handles the retail marketing for an automotive manufacturer and their dealer network. They are now seeking an Account Manager to support the team consisting of agency and field based staff.
Overview of the Role:
The Account Manager will support the Account Director and field team managing the retail marketing for an automotive manufacturer.
This team is responsible for developing and delivering budgeted marketing plans which can be proven to increase sales for allocated retailers. They work with the manufacturer’s retailers across the UK providing local site marketing advice and support for new, used, finance, fleet and aftersales communications linked to integrated media services. They look after each of these retailers by supporting all of their B2C marketing communications both traditionally and digitally. This involves educating retailers in the principals of local integrated marketing and new emerging trends linked to the most effective communication channels.
The successful candidate will:
Be educated to degree level
Automotive retail marketing experience gained either in a field or agency based role
Excellent client service skills
Channel marketing experience
Be highly organised and good at managing multiple projects
Ability to write both strategic and tactical proposals
Ability to deliver clear effective briefs to Creative teams
Manage tight budget control of client activity
