Last year alone, Kia Motors Corporation (KMC) distributed more than a million cars worldwide. As a 100% subsidiary of KMC, Kia Motors (UK) Ltd (KMUK) is driving phenomenal success and will in 2005, for the fifth successive year, post record UK sales of around 40,000 new vehicles. In turn, KMUK's after sales functions have been growing and developing at a similar record pace.
To maintain the after sale momentum, we are keen to address the critical factors of customer retention and communication with the existing Kia dealer networks. KMUK's goal is to achieve this through innovative marketing concepts and programmes and their related activites.
The following key roles now exist within the after sales department:
AFTER SALES MARKETING MANAGER
To £35k + car + excellent benefit package
You will start by building strong relationships with the existing field teams and the dealer network, identifying new opportunities and maximising the potential of innovative marketing to make a major impact on their business. From then on, you'll develop and implement a range of after sales marketing programmes, materials and concepts, ensuring that the after sales message is communicated efficiently and effectively to customers.
Proven automotive importer/ manufacturer marketing experience is essential, ideally gained in an after sales or similar discipline. A first-rate team player and communicator with excellent leadership skills, you will also bring a commercially focused and results driven approach to business.
AFTER SALES BUSINESS MANAGERS x 4

Field Based - Nationwide
In these newly created key roles within the after sales department you will be one of a new team of field based After Sales Business Managers. You will be responsible for approx 35 dealers in your region and be tasked with improving dealer performance in the after sales arena with a focus on customer satisfaction & retention, sales opportunities and profitability. You will also manage dealer service, parts and accessories marketing activities in order to maximise sales opportunities in these areas.
You will be educated to degree level or equivalent with a strong background in automotive after sales - gained in either a senior management or marketing role within a manufactuer/ importer or automotive dealership environment. Experience of customer satisfaction service level management and dealer parts and after sales commercial operations are essential.
