£excellent salary + benefits. Based at the Toyota Academy, Salfords, Nr Gatwick, Surrey
With sales increasing by 9.9% last year, Toyota is now the world’s second largest vehicle manufacturer. Much of our success is down to the quality and reliability of our products, but equally to our people – people who embrace the ‘Toyota Way’ and deliver great customer service at our Centres nationwide. And it’s precisely because we recognise the importance of our people that we deploy leading-edge training techniques at the Toyota Academy, which set the benchmark for the automotive industry.
Now you have the chance to work for Toyota, in a strongly hands-on role in support of our After Sales strategy. Reporting to the After Sales Training Manager, you will be responsible for a comprehensive range of training courses in customer service, and parts and service systems and operations, designed to enhance the already high level of knowledge and skills of our Centre Network staff. This will involve preparing training material, making presentations and managing the quality of work provided by outside consultants. In addition, you will have a major role in the launch of a new industry leading nationally recognised after sales qualification. Some travel within the UK will be required.
To have the knowledge and credibility demanded by the role, you must have at least five years’ experience in the automotive industry gained with either a retailer, manufacturer or training organisation. But whatever you are at present, you will already have made a name for yourself as an inspirational trainer and an articulate presenter. An A-level or equivalent standard of education is also needed.
In return, you can expect an excellent package that includes a choice of car lease schemes, BUPA, a contributory pension and 25 days’ holiday.
