The Henry Ford College is a unique and global first in Automotive Retail Education and Training. Part of Loughborough University, it was originally established to support the Ford Motor Company and associated franchises, but is now open to all as a centre of excellence for the industry.
The college offers a range of qualifications including certificates, diplomas and degrees, designed to meet the peronal development needs of employees and managers throughout the Automotive Retail Industry. These qualifications are aligned to the new industry "Automotive Retail Management" standards.
This is a key role, with responsibilty for designing and delivering a range of non technical aftermarket modules for both customer facing staff and manager.
The successful candidate will join the existing team of tutors, associates and researchers based at Loughborough.
You will have the responsability for projects that will include:
Designing and updating courses and programmes for delivery at the Henry Ford College, around the UK and Europe.
Running training programmes in specific aftermarket areas, including skills development, operations mangement and marketing. In addition you will work as part of the team of the team delivering a broad range of management development modules.
Evaluating effectiveness of design and delivery and continuously improving programmes.
Ideally, educated to degree level or equivalent, with a high level of computer literacy, you will have relevant aftermarket experience in the retail automotive industry and be able to deliver with total credibility to a variety of audiences. We are looking for individuals with a proven track record in trainign and real hands on knowledge- not just theorists. We are firm believers in the maxim, "Those who can, teach".
