Our client is an automotive manufacturer currently experiencing impressive growth in the UK and with strong plans for future development. They are now seeking an Aftersales Standards Manager to work with their dealers across the UK. The role will be mainly field based but will also involve regular meetings at head office – in the home counties. Candidates will need to live in the Northern/Western Home Counties area. This role will initially be employed as an 18 month fixed term contract.
We are seeking a commercially aware individual with a strong understanding of modern dealer operations who is looking to take the next step in their career. You will be highly process driven, have excellent interpersonal and influencing skills. Candidates with a background working for automotive manufacturers, large dealer groups or consultancies/suppliers will be considered.
Define and set Dealer Aftersales facility and operating standards
Manage implementation of the Aftersales standards in both new and established Dealers
Drive compliance with base standards and improvement to enhanced standards
Control compliance reward and sanction schemes
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL:
Have experience in process development and audit supplier or similar role with another leading motor manufacturer or large dealer group or supplier.
Have a good understanding of Dealer Aftersales operations
Have a full understanding of modern dealership operations
Knowledge and understanding of Block Exemption Regulations.
Be commercially aware with strong profit orientation
Be highly numerate with the ability to manipulate data
Be self motivated with high levels of drive and hunger to achieve team and personal targets
Be a good influencer - able to build and maintain strong relationships at all levels
Demonstrate a progressive career history to date
Ideally live in either: Herts, Bucks, Berks, Oxon, Beds, Warcs or Northants
