Area Customer Manager
Our client is one of the leading automotive manufacturers in the world with nearly 200 dealerships across the UK. Following a recent restructure, the business is seeking to recruit an experienced Area Customer Manager to cover circa 40 dealerships across northern England and Scotland and will take responsibility for the improvement in customer satisfaction and retention, leading to business and profit growth for the network. The client has a clear vision that their dealerships provide the highest levels of customer service possible.
Working closely with other members of the senior management team within your area, the Area Customer Manager will ensure that the dealerships achieve the targeted aftersales Customer Service Index (CSI) score which in turn should lead to the achievement of parts and accessories sales targets and retail hours. You will implement and continuously review business improvement plans whilst ensuring dealers fully support all programmes and derive maximum benefit in terms of customer satisfaction and retention. You will also improve the effectiveness of customer complaint handling at a local level.
With the above measures in place, the client believes this will promote sales growth and profit through the influencing of dealers to focus on the customer and promote the need for a strong database and contact procedures.
To be successful in this role, the client is seeking to recruit a highly polished candidate with a strong background from a customer focused retail environment. You will need to have strong interpersonal and communication skills and will have worked in a similar type of role in either the automotive or retail environment.
