Managing the Forces fleet, you’ll oversee the maintenance of vehicles and services and ensure that everyone in your team is well-supported and developed.
Evaluating the performance and cost-effectiveness of vehicles, specialists and experimental equipment, you’ll optimise operational resources and help to formulate future policy. Liaising with major suppliers and contacts, you’ll also monitor the trading account, fuel usage and vehicle unit cost and manage associated budgets and insurance.
With a City and Guilds in a relevant motor trade discipline or equivalent, you’ll ideally be a member of a recognised engineering body and have experience of all aspects of controlling a vehicle fleet. Computer literate with knowledge of risk assessment, you’ll be an objective problem solver and able to communicate effectively at all levels.
