Trader Media Group is looking for a highly driven and talented Marketing Executive to support the planning, strategy and implementation of Marketing Plans for Auto Trader’s portfolio of Trade products and services. This role is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially-savvy Marketing Executive with 2 or more years’ experience in B2B to work on a new, exciting part of the business. You’ll have ownership across multiple areas and deliver both online and offline activity to help us exceed our objectives. This will include campaign planning, implementation, measurement and reporting. You’ll preferably come from an automotive background, with proven experience in digital marketing.
Key Responsibilities will include:
Plan and implement a variety of marketing campaigns to support the business area and overall brand objectives
Act as a brand guardian, making sure full alignment internally and externally is maintained
Work closely with creative and PR agencies to deliver against campaign plans and KPIs
Maintain solid relationships with product & tech, sales and service teams to deliver against business objectives and agreed marketing plan
Support the Marketing Manager in planning and identifying new opportunities
Assist in managing the business area budget
Support other team members where necessary.
The successful candidate will ideally have experience in automotive, preferably within car retailing or remarketing. You’ll be passionate about the industry, with a proactive mindset and a strong willingness to learn. In addition, you’ll be a proven marketer with integrated brand and communications experience.
Stakeholder management skills are essential, as well as the ability to manage relationships at all levels – including customers.
In addition, you will have the following key skills and experience:
Degree educated or equivalent professional marketing qualification
Experience in B2B
Excellent interpersonal, negotiating and influencing skills
Proven in management of campaigns at all stages – from planning through to reporting
A good understanding of data and interpreting results
A proven understanding of CMS systems and email management tools
A good understanding across all aspects of digital marketing, including SEM and Social
Good financial acumen.
