The Business Consultant role with General Motors is targeted at those retailers within the group (Vauxhall, Saab and Chevrolet) who are recognised as not performing to expectation. The role is to identify through their financial statements the areas that require attention and formulate a recovery plan. A detailed knowledge of all areas of the dealer business (New, Used and Aftersales) is required in order to ensure actions stated in the recovery plan are undertaken and monitored. The role requires close liaison with relevant regional field teams and the ability to negotiate at high level with stakeholders, funders and banks.
You will have a proven track record of success either as Dealer Principal for Financial Controller within the automotive retail environment with a keen understanding of management accounts and manufacturer composite reporting. A self-starter who is able to act on own initiative and make the necessary decisions of such a high profile role.
