A leading automotive manufacturer is currently seeking 2 field based Business Management Consultants, one based in the East Midlands (from Luton to Sheffield) and the other in Northern England (Manchester/Leeds to Scottish Border).
Turning around the performance of a selection of loss making dealers resulting in an improved sustainable network, enabling the brand to deliver on their Targets and Standards.
Key Activities will include:
Deliver a demonstrable improvement to the financial performance of pre-defined loss making dealers through the following:
-Building a solid working relationship with your dealers to understand their motives, strengths, weaknesses and to achieve mutual trust, respect and confidence
-Having a full commercial knowledge of the operation and financing of a dealership
-Working with the investors and senior management to produce financial recovery plans and to monitor key milestones going forwards
Understanding the key drivers of performance to appreciate the financial impact of the problems within your dealers.
Influencing your dealers to acknowledge the weaknesses within their business.
Determine the best method of tracking performance
Concise summary of visits with actions, targets and timeframes
Managing the requirements for specialist resources such as used cars, aftersales, management assessment, and utilise appropriately.
Proactively manage the future risk of the Network through independent review of all franchising activity for a Brand.
Influence dealers’ performance through developing a strong working relationship and trust with Brand Franchising teams, Finance Providers, Dealers, Brand Operations teams, Finance Department, Investors, Dealer Groups
The successful candidate:
Must be a Qualified / Part-Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACMA/ACCA)
Evidence of interpreting in detail financial and management accounts and other financial information, and making strong commercial recommendations
Have a demonstrable understanding of the dealer network
Demonstrable experience of influencing to a senior level
Experience of managing multiple projects and stakeholders
Strong commercial management experience
