Our client is a unique leasing organisation with a specialist customer base. They are seeking a dynamic and ambitious individual to take responsibility for Manufacturer & Dealer Communications and Training. Heading up a team of 8, responsibilities will be divided between managing and developing a compelling communications strategy to UK automotive dealers & manufacturers and an effective training programme. This opportunity would suit someone with a background working for an automotive manufacturer in both dealer-facing and head office functions.

Purpose of role:
Responsible for all communications with Dealer Partners and Vehicle Manufacturers
Responsible for the ongoing development and delivery of Training Programmes

Key accountabilities:
Develop and deliver a cohesive communications strategy for all manufacturer and dealer relationships
Responsible for all manufacturer and dealer communications, including event, printed and digital
Work with internal stakeholders to ensure consistent communications and strengthen a positive customer experience
Build effective relationships with all external stakeholders
Undertake review of current dealer training to ensure it meets the company’s and dealer requirements and supports the company’s reputation.
Devise updated training approach that is sustainable and includes an e-learning platform
Team Management
Develop budgets and manage Cost Centre

The successful candidate will have:
A good understanding of UK automotive industry and dealer operations
Experience working in both dealer-facing and head office roles for a UK automotive manufacturer (in either sales, marketing, after sales, fleet or training)
A strong understanding of how to communicate effectively to dealers (verbal & written)
Substantial 3rd party supplier management experience
Departmental Management experience including responsibility for people management and budget responsibility
First Class written and verbal communication and influencing skills
Be of graduate calibre and demonstrate drive and ambition
Be happy to take on a role based in Central London
It would be advantageous to have experience of implementing and managing a Learning Management System and developing learning content including both classroom and e-learning materials.
