We are looking for an experienced Automotive professional with a high capacity for workload.
SH Al Mana is a $1bn turnover Company whose interests lie in the Construction, Catering, Engineering, Retail, Hospitality and Automotive sectors both in Qatar, the United Kingdom and other regions in the Middle-East. The Company is looking for a very experienced professional to head up their Automotive Division in Qatar who has previously enjoyed full P&L responsibility within a multi-site experience at a minimum of Director/Executive level and who enjoys implementing robust operational systems and is expert in delivering excellence in Customer Service. The successful applicant will be an individual who understands the requirements of the regional culture and is able to build long-lasting Business relationships in the local community and with the stakeholders in the Business. The successful applicant will be financially astute and who works in a quickly and timely manner and enjoys meeting deadlines.
This is a newly-created role for the Company and it will vary according to the size of the Automotive Division in Qatar. SH Al Mana is an established and admired Company within Qatar and has an appetite for expansion within Qatar, the UK and neighbouring middle-eastern regions. We therefore see the ideal candidate as one adaptable to change and growth within the role in the Middle-East.
In general the COO of the Automotive Division, Qatar will oversee all aspects of the Automotive Division in the Qatar outlets. The individual is responsible for the achievement of challenging financial targets and for the flow of information both asked for and created to the Chairman and Qatari Board and, where necessary, other Stakeholders.
o Previous Motor Industry Experience of at least 15 years within a multi-site environment with at least 5 years at Director/Executive Level
o At least 5 years’ experience at Director level within a multi-site automotive retail environment
o Highest levels of accuracy
o Ability to manage a team of direct reports in a professional manner and to be aware of local cultural nuances
