Our client is an automotive manufacturer with high ambitions to grow their vehicle sales in the fleet sector. They are now looking for a Corporate & Leasing Sales Manager to manage their fleet department nationally. The role will involve selling directly to Leasing Companies and Major Corporate Fleets. This is an exciting opportunity for a really talented and motivated fleet sales professional to make a impact. You will need a proven track record in fleet sales working with current or very recent experience working for an automotive manufacturer selling fleet to major UK Contract Hire and Leasing Companies. 

Job Purpose
The purpose of the position is to ensure that the Corporate & Leasing sales elements of the manufacturer’s forecast are achieved.

Basic Functions
Developing strategic fleet customer programmes that are financially viable, monitoring and driving fleet sales volumes
Meeting customers and key senior fleet influencers directly via business meetings or fleet events, as fleet ambassador for the brand.
Regular liaison with the manufacturer’s senior finance and brand heads to agree tactics and strategy and be a key influencer during the relevant business decisions.

Primary Responsibilities

Corporate Fleet:
Formulate and deploy agreed corporate sales plans with a view to achieving sales objectives
Ensure that the manufacturer’s product is competitively positioned and achieves its fair share of corporate customer fleets.
Support Field Sales staff to ensure sales opportunities are maximised.


Contract Hire & Leasing:
Ensure that top 25 leasing and contract hire companies have the manufacturer’s product competitively positioned for their customers.
Engage with leasing and contract hire companies for “batch deal” opportunities.
Enlist high quality broker network with national reach to make the manufacturer’s product available to SME sector.
Maintain product and pricing information flow process to support launch process and the manufacturer’s whole life cost competitiveness.
Engage with key leasing personnel for product reviews and competitive residual values on the manufacturer’s product
Manage dealer based Contract Hire sales programme aimed at local business users.

Fleet Marketing & Dealer Network:
Work with marketing team on best possible use of limited marketing resources for maximum visibility and impact in fleet channels.
Develop and deploy plans for a Fleet Specialist Dealer footprint.

The successful candidate will:
Have current or very recent experience working for an automotive manufacturer selling fleet to major UK Contract Hire and Leasing Companies. 
Have a proven track record in fleet sales working for an automotive manufacturer – in either a regional or national role
Demonstrate a strong network of contacts with the major UK leasing & contract hire companies
Be a pro-active and driven sales person with the ability to open doors and close sales
Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
Have a high level of integrity
Demonstrate a progressive career history to date
Be ambitious and proactive and demonstrate the potential for future promotion within the company
