Our client is one of the leading automotive manufacturers in the world with over 300 dealerships across the UK covering a diverse product range. The business is seeking to recruit an experienced Customer Retention Manager who will take responsibility for the Aftersales retention of their customers across all products. Ultimately, this role will shape the organisation’s customer Aftersales experience.
Through the leadership of a team, the successful candidate will develop and implement a clear strategy for Aftersales programmes and initiatives which will lead to greater customer retention. Key measures will be improved repurchase and profitability for the dealer network.
The main responsibilities for this role include the management and motivation of 3 individuals whilst leading various initiatives to give dealers the opportunity to increase customer retention. You will develop existing Aftersales programmes and systems and raise the awareness of return on investment (ROI) throughout the dealer network. With budget accountability, you will also create strong relationships both internally and externally.
The successful applicant must have a strong understanding of the automotive sector, ideally with a manufacturer background to appreciate how an organisation works in partnership with its network. You will also have a strong background in Aftersales and understand PARC. Other pre-requisites include having excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills and a thought process that always challenges the norm and puts the customer first. Organised and financially aware, you will also have previous experience of managing and developing a team.
