Reporting directly to the Managing Director of Porsche Cars Great Britain, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an exceptional individual to lead the operation and development of Porsche’s five wholly-owned Retail Centres.
Employing a total of 275 people, the Porsche Retail Group is comprised of five Porsche Centres located in the South East at Guildford, Hatfield, Mayfair, Reading and West London.
Based at the Head Office in Reading but travelling frequently to the five Retail Centres, you will have full responsibility for ensuring that the Group achieves agreed sales and profit targets. Your key focus will be to maximise these opportunities through inspirational and motivational leadership, working closely with the five Centre Principals. You will need to ensure all five Centres are consistently exceeding customer expectations by continuously improving the customer experience in line with operational policies and franchise contract arrangements. You will also need to develop strong working relationships with individuals within Porsche Cars Great Britain and with departments at Porsche AG in Stuttgart.
With a proven track record of performance delivery, the successful candidate should have experience of luxury brands as a General Manager or Centre Principal of a large prestige brand dealership and ideally have responsibility and experience of a multi-site operation.
You should be able to demonstrate significant automotive retail experience, which should include extensive knowledge of both the sales and aftersales areas of the business. You will also need to demonstrate sales and marketing flair as your direction and leadership in these areas will be fundamental to achieving success in the role.
