The Dealer Development Manager is responsible for the ongoing development of the company's Retailer network and acts as a Business Consultant to support ongoing development of their business activities. Protects the image of the Company and its brands by ensuring its Retailer organisation provides the facilities and service ('The ultimate customer experience') that our Company's customers are entitled to and expect.
Tasks & Responsibilities
•Leads regular reviews and updates of the motor brands' Retailer Standards, including Corporate Identity manuals for Retailers and operational departments, monitors actual retail centers situations; and conducts audits & meetings as required.
•Leads regular reviews and updates of the quality management system (Quality Management in the Automotive Industry) for the Company and conducts audits & meetings as required.
•Works cross-departmentally to manage and regularly review the CRM projects. Responsibility includes monthly status meetings, documentation of status reports and follow-up on agreed action plans.
•Review effectiveness and efficiency of Retailer Management and staff and make necessary recommendations to the subsequent director level.
•Provides recommendations for Management and Executive approval, business strategies and corrective action plans designed to address Retailer Standards problems and opportunities.
•In cooperation with the Branch Manager ensures that corrective action plans are communicated and implemented relating to Retailer Standards, CRM and Quality Management.
•Establishes a set of general and specific procedures for the appointment and/or relocation of Retailers.
•Upon approval of Retailer applicants, arranges the preparation and signing of letters of intent, Retailer Agreements and other associated contractual documents. Develop and implements a plan of introduction, orientation and regular follow-up with newly-signed Retailers and staff.
•Assists in the development, implementation and administration of programs and standards designed to enhance the image of the retail network. This includes the coordination and administration of the Retailer facility design activities; In addition, it also includes the coordination and administration of the activities relating to retail facility Corporate Identity standards.
•Project Management for new/renovated retail outlets (showrooms and service centers).
•Coordinates the yearly Sales budget and business plan process for the Company and its Retail Network and monitors it on a monthly basis.
•Review and develop Sales Policies & Procedures (e.g. Discounts, etc.).
•Establish annual objectives that focus improving the efficiency and expansion of the Company's motor business and the individual retailer targets for the region.
•Coordinates and administers the Company's Central Dealer Database.
•Other special assignments and duties of a general or unspecified nature as may be required to achieve the overall effectiveness of the Retailer Development Department.
