Our client is an automotive manufacturer currently experiencing sustained growth in the UK. They are now seeking a field based Dealer Fleet Manager to cover the south west region (Worcestershire, Herefordshire, Gloucestershire, South Wales, Avon, Wiltshire, Hampshire, Somerset, Dorset, Devon & Cornwall). You will be tasked with growing local SME and fleet sales. You will sell directly to SME businesses working closely with the Dealers in your region. You will coach, train, lead, motivate and inspire dealer personnel and work with them to maximize fleet sales. You will need a proven track record in business to business sales in either the automotive, capital equipment sectors or IT sales.

Main tasks and responsibilities:
Geographical based responsibility for Local Fleet sales to SME customers, with special focus on Business Centre dealers
Provide the highest quality of fleet customer account management
Drive Business Centre engagement with their local SME market
Develop close working relationships with all the manufacturer’s regional field staff
Drive the performance of the dealer Contract Hire product
Maximise account and territory management effectiveness through the full utilization of the manufacturers specialist fleet CRM system
Generate maximum value from manufacturer Fleet events in terms of customer experience
Generate maximum value from the use of Fleet demonstrators to drive sales volume and customer perception

The successful candidate will:
Have a proven track record in a target driven, outbound fleet or B2B sales in either automotive (e.g. fleet sales, leasing, corporate sales or finance), capital equipment sales or IT sales
Demonstrate a track record in selling a new concept/idea/product to business customers
Be able to communicate well at all levels – from board level down
Have excellent influencing and persuasive skills
Strong leadership skills
Ability to work under pressure and own initiative to achieve required activity levels and results
Be located in the South West region – ideally in or near Bristol, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, Somerset or South Wales
Have excellent written and verbal communication skills including strong presentation skills
Probably be educated to at least A level standard
