A leading West Midlands based Marketing Agency with an enviable client list including many house-hold name brands is seeking a National Dealer Marketing Manager for an iconic motorcycle brand.
You will need to have experience and passion for automotive retail marketing – any bike experience would be great but isn’t essential, however if you are a biker please apply here! You will need loads of energy as the role covers the whole country. You’ll be based at the agency in the West Midlands and spend about 3 days a week on the road helping your dealers to be the best when it comes to local marketing and engaging with their customers.
The Dealer Marketing Manager role is a senior leadership position with the responsibility for the overall strategic direction of the programme. In addition, the role is to primarily develop and deliver budgeted marketing plans, which can be proven to increase sales and profitability for dealerships. You will work with dealerships across the UK and Ireland providing local marketing advice and support for communications linked to integrated media services. You will be based in the West Midlands but will travel to meet dealers as and when required – approx 3 days a week on the road.
You will look after the network, supporting all of their B2C marketing communications both traditionally and digitally. This will involve educating dealerships in the principals of local integrated marketing and new emerging trends linked to the most effective communication channels.
You will ensure high levels of customer service and satisfaction as you support your dealerships through this local marketing programme. This will be achieved through the efficient and effective deployment of marketing products and services.
The Successful Candidate will have:
• Automotive sector experience
• Channel marketing experience
• Regional marketing experience
• Highly motivated and ambitious client handling skills
• Ability to build and develop relationships with key decision makers
• Strong planning, administration and work load balancing skills
• Ability to construct strategic and tactical brief
• Ability to review creative against brief
• Good time management skills
• A passion and enthusiasm for bikes would be highly advantageous
