Thames Honda Ltd. is looking to recruit an outstanding Dealer Principal to manage its operation in West London. The business has a long history of top level achievement which will require a highly focused and ambitious individual to maintain and improve future performance.
The successful candidate will have a proven record of accomplishment in the Automotive Industry, with several years’ experience of General or Sales Management with the ability to deliver outstanding customer service. Commercially focused, they will need to display the ability to think strategically whilst adopting a practical “hands on” approach in running the business. They will become a role model for the business and the ability to lead by example will be as important as the results they deliver. A strong team player and communicator, they must be able to lead, motivate and develop both themselves and others.
Financial and commercial acumen is of the utmost importance; the successful candidate will be responsible for managing and delivering the financial performance of the business and must be capable of applying strong financial controls within an agreed framework.

Effectively manage the resources for each department to achieve the required business objectives including sales volumes, profitability, employee satisfaction, customer satisfaction and retention.
Develop a customer service driven environment and culture through regular communication, team building and coaching.
Communicate and maintain customer service standards and measurements in line with the requirements of the manufacturer and Thames Honda Ltd.
Provide clear leadership by ensuring the vision and objectives for the business and group are understood and communicated by each team.
Agree challenging and achievable objectives and work standards with department managers and review their performance on a regular basis.
Formulate and agree marketing activities and budgets in order to create and maintain brand and company awareness.
Who we're looking for:
An ambitious automotive manager with at least 10 years automotive retail experience
Excellent communications skills (written and verbal)
Analytical skills to review, interpret and respond to each functions performance
Understanding of marketing concepts and application in the automotive environment
A proven track record
