Jaguar House in Liverpool was the first solus Jaguar dealership in the world. The business, part of Hatfields’ extensive Jaguar network, later moved to its current landmark premises, Riverside Drive, on the banks of the Mersey. The launch of the new Jaguar XE in May 2015 has created an opportunity for a Dealer Principal who is comfortable with managing change in a rapidly growing business.
The business is a recognised specialist R-S Centre, one of only twenty Dealers in the country to be awarded this. The site is also a Corporate Centre and comprises Sales, Service, Parts and Accounts. With a current turnover of £11m, you will report directly into the Managing Director and lead a team of 3 Line Managers and approximately 24 staff. Volume will more than double in the next three years.
The ideal candidate for this prestigious role will be a motivational leader who is skilled at recruiting and building teams. Strong project management skills are required as you will need to successfully manage the new showroom development. Although previous Sales Management experience is an advantage, the ability to deliver outstanding customer service is essential. Commercially focused, you need to display the ability to think strategically whilst adopting a practical hands on approach in running the business. You will demonstrate a thorough understanding and adherence to business processes and possess strong marketing and communication skills in order to grow and develop the business.
Although Automotive experience is ideal, this position may also suit someone with relevant industry knowledge gained with either a manufacturer or logistics company. Due to the nature of this challenging and demanding role, there will be a requirement to live within the local area. A relocation package is available for the right candidate. A working knowledge of the geographical area would also be an advantage.
On behalf of Hatfields, Jaguar, interested applicants should send a CV and covering letter explaining how they meet the requirements of the role, to Elizabeth Argyrides at [email protected]. Closing date for applications is Monday, 14th April 2014.
